Eggs!


When it comes to health, fitness and nutrition there are few things as good for you as the humble chicken egg.

There is nothing I recommend more highly for breakfast or for snacks than eggs. They are cheap, versatile, and delicious.

One of my favourite easy breakfast recipes is three scrambled eggs over a few slices of ham with a sprinkling of grated full fat cheese and a drizzle of low sugar ketchup. It takes minutes to prepare and keeps you feeling full for hours.

Don't like scrambled eggs? You can fry them, boil them, poach them or turn them into omelettes (try loading them up with ham and mushrooms with a bit of cheese on top).

The best kind are organic as they contain omega 3 but any kind of egg is high in protein, low in saturated fat and contain zero carbohydrates plus usually an Egg will cost you less than 20p so they are very affordable, even on a budget.
